These workshops are designed for participants to understand and explore the basic principles of nutrition as it relates to calories, portion sizes, food choices and strategies to eating healthier.
These sessions will also educate participants about how they can prevent obesity as well as other chronic diseases through good nutrition and physical activity.

- Participants are introduced to the Food Label Card Game, which is designed to teach individuals how to select the healthiest foods based on the percentage of total fat per serving, calories, sodium, and cholesterol.
