Our fitness programs include the following objectives:
Introduce F.I.T.T (Frequency, Intensity, Time and Type): An easy 4 principle method of planning and starting an exercise program.
Discuss how to overcome the barriers to exercising and how to make it a family affair.
Discuss basic nutrition and healthy eating principles.
Identify healthy weight management goals.
Participants can also learn non tradition activities such as chair and other low impact exercises, and discuss ways everyone can increase their physical activity!
